Could you please do a similar post to "The facts on Saw Palmetto" on low ferritin in relation to female hair loss? I have found this to be a highly controvercial subject, with little scientific data to back up either side. What's your view? Thanks!!
This might belong to this section as well, though. Don't men need to keep up their ferritin levels as well?
That's one thing I wish this site had- more info on the causes of hairloss other than the dht explanation. True, there isn't much to add to that, except a lot of guys are asking if their stress made them lose hair faster or earlier, or drugs, or whatever.
Gonna sound like a broken record here, but I crash dieted in Europe- lost 25 lbs in 2 months, and that is when I lost so so so much hair, well, 2-3 months after. But I am certain that was the trigger. And does this have to do with low ferritin (iron, right?) levels???
I would like to know more about what can trigger baldness.
I would also like to educate everybody on the subject, maybe save some poor future-newbies, you know? This should be discussed in a health education class or something, with masturbation and mother's side of the family bullshit clarified.
