To People Who Had Dht Blood Tests Pre/ And During Finasteride Use - How Much Did The Levels Change?

I just got my "during" finasteride DHT levels results back and it was 0.6 (range of 0.4-2.5) whilst my results after being a number of months off was 1.3.

I guess that aligns with the "60% reduction" physiology of the drug, but I do remember reading other people's accounts where they (I think) were down at like .1, and stuff.

Could anyone who knows theirs help me out and add some input to this.

dht level is very fluctuant during the day so its unreliable most of the time.
You should check sexual precursors that are more stable in order to verify what you're asking, like androstenedione.
Btw there are studies talking about a suppression of 60/70% of dht and an increase of 15% of T and (depends of your genetic aromatase enzyme ) estrogen

people who develop longterm sideeffects have pretty normal dht level after they quit the drug..

its estimated that something is wrong with their receptors or that the problem is not dht the but the other hormones finasterid fucks with

finasteride didn't work for me.

Wanted to see if it actually decreased my DHT at all as it doesn't for some people.

Think it is pretty important in that respect.

It's important to test before and after. Mine went from 35 ng/dL pre finasteride to 12 on oral finasteride. It went to 19 using topical finasteride (Morr-F)
