Well Stinger, I just started using the Folligen spray yesterday. It is easy enough to get it on the front of my head but a PAIN in the *** to get to the back of my head. My thin areas are under layers of hair (which is a good thing, I know, but makes it very tough to apply anything). It took me close to an hr I think to get everything. But I think I will get better with time. Was that your question even ????
I part my hair in 1 inch sections (in metrics that's what? 2.5 cm?) and apply several drops in each part, then rub in lightly with my fingers. As for the back, I just part a few times and apply, but I'm not terribly obsessive about it. I figure the system absorption will take care of everything.
Thanks ladies, I ask because my hair is about 2 inches long and well I find it quite hard applying the stuff at times and I just hope it gets in the scalp! So I thought what better to ask then the ladies with long hair?
Anita, you did uhm answer it but.. You never stated HOW you apply Rogaine specifically so plop to you!
I use many methods at once. For the front, I look for the bald areas and spray it on, rub it in a bit. Sometimes I just dip my finger in the folligen and dab my head. For the back I also put up my hair so that the balding areas show. Then I spray or use my fingers. Of course, the back is a lot harder... This is for Folligen but I understand that minoxidil is much greasier so I may have to try something else with minoxidil once I start it.
