I got the impression from reading various scientific studies that in typically used concentrations it doesn't get absorbed systemically in a great enough amount to cause problems, while still being somewhat effective. I'd say it's somewhere between Alfatradiol and RU, strength-wise, when used topically. Could be a good thing to try, I wanted to do it myself but could not get my hands on it.

However, some people on HairLossHelp claimed to have used it topically and gotten strong systemic sides, I don't know what kind of vehicle they were using but I doubt that they even knew what they were doing or prepared it properly. I would want it prepared by a compounding pharmacy instead of having something cooked up at home, especially with a drug as strong as this.

It activates the progestin receptor when used topically and the progestin receptor is an androgen receptor antagonist so less AR = less hair loss. around 20mg daily for me works better than RU 5g /month. I'm going to be using both RU and CPA or possibly cycling off the CPA to avoid sides.
