Topical Finasteride 2.5% From H&w Side Effects?

Hi guys. I just wanted to post some observations on this Topical from H&W as there aren't many accounts on the internet.

I started with this new topical Finasteride about a week ago. I bought it from the Italian pharmacy that works with H&W.

I can assure you guys that I'm getting side effects:
Lower libido and weaker erections.

Those are the only side effects I have noticed.

I'm using 1ml every day at a 2.5% concentration. I'm going to try 1ml each 3 days and see how it goes. I'll write an update in about 2 weeks

pd: After noticing side effects I tried looking for more testimonials of people that are actually using this topical finasteride by H&W (there aren't many on the web) and found 2 (reddit.com/r/tressless/). These guys sadly have also gotten side effects

I thought finasteride couldn't be used topically because it must be metabolized.

Then again I do remeber seeing a thread where people were making their own topical solutions and reporting success.

Well, I'm not questioning its efficacy here, but it does give you side effects. At least to me.

There's a thread in another forum on how to prepare a topical finasteride solution using Propylene Glycol and Ethanol.

If people were truly getting results from this, then maybe you should look into that, especially if everyone that has ever used your solutioned has never reported legitimate results. It may have to do with the preparation.

How you're only experiencing only side effects maybe from improper administration. Generally, you DO have to take finasteride, dutasteride orally, since they are 5-alpha reductase inhibitors that work internally. If a group of people managed to properly take this and had success and none or very minimal sides, then you should look into their method of preparation.

The idea of topical finasteride is that it will inhibit DHT in the skin but not in the blood. It's not clear which of those two has more effect on hair loss.

Either way, H&W topical finasteride is widely reported as going systemic. It's a sorry excuse of a product.

Isnt 2.5% finasteride too strong? That would be 25mg/ml?

2.5 mg, it's a massive dose, completely ridiculous.

Yes guys...2.5% seems quite a lot.
But the H&W prescription is for 2.5%
If I would've known I would had asked for a 0.5% concentration.

I got it from "Parati" Pharmacy in Italy (I'm from Spain)

2.5 mg, it's a massive dose, completely ridiculous.

2.5% is 25mg per ml (see here http://www.manuelsweb.com/solutions1.htm). 0.25% would be 2.5mg per ml. They say only 10% of it goes systemic so 2.5mg? It's difficult to quantify it.
