I'm set to start taking 0.1% topical finasteride ASAP, whenever i can get my script filled, and i'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with it exacerbating PRE-EXISTING gynecomastia.

I've had pretty mild gyno since puberty - If im at a low BF% it basically just results in puffy nipples.

Has taking finasteride made anyones gyno worse than it was before? I'm more or less OK with my mild b**ch tits at this point, but definitely don't want them to get any bigger....

Hey I use Topical Finasteride and did have bad side effects from oral, I been using Topical Finasteride for over 10 years now in the same compound mixture. I have used different pharmacies over the years but I now use Murray Avenue Apothecary. I never had any side effects and have have maintained my hair plus regrown.

I use lotion compound mixture:
15% Minoxidil
0.1% Finasteride
5% Azelaic Acid
0.25% Progesterone
0.025% Tretinoin
0.1% Hydocortisone

They do different compound strengths, check my thread plus they give discount so maybe check them out might be cheaper for you.

Is it true gynecomastia (presence of the enlarged gland under your nipple) or fat tissue?
If you have been diagnosed with a true gynecomastia, any anti androgen will make it worse, including finasteride.
As for Androgenetic Alopecia, there are 2 factors that triggers a true gynecomastia: a genetic predisposition and the presence/lack of some hormones. In this case is the lack of androgens (not the presence of estradiol like many wrongly believe).
So if you decrease further your androgen index, your gyno will get worse.

yup, true gyno. never been diagnosed, but its been present since about 13 or so. i run the risk of the mass enlarging even 15 years after it formed..? i may not be willing to do finasteride if thats the case
