I am nw3 and I've visited a hairloss clinic 3 months ago...
They didn't convince me to get a FUE transplant yet but they did convince me to buy their topical finasteride. 75eu for 2,5 month supply, pretty expensive. PG + Ethanol. I 've been using it for 2 months now and I feel like it's doing absolutely nothing, especially compared to the oral finasteride I used to take for 1 year before quitting
The clinic people told me that I should apply it midscalp and crown because it doesn't get absorbed when I apply it on the front and temples. But that's where my hairloss is. The gel can't even reach the scalp on my crown because thank god I still have hair there. Are their application instructions legit? I 've searched the internet and I haven't found a single person advising people to apply the topical this way. Instead, everyone says to apply on the hairloss area.
So after 2 months of application my head still itches and my hairloss didn't halt a bit. Ofcourse, I don't have any side effects either. When I was taking oral my head stopped itching, my hair was blacker and shinier and the hairloss slowed down significantly. So I started questioning the legitimacy of their product... Is there a way I can test it?
