So I have been on a compounded .5 topical Finasteride. 9 months no results. Going to stick out a year. I have a 2 year old batch of Kane RU powder that’s been in the freezer.

Is it crazy to crush Propecia and add RU to an ethanol (everclear) and PG solution to replace the topical Finasteride? I have a year supply of Propecia since getting sides on oral.

If so what ratios?

if you got sides on oral propecia you will get them on topical, it's only a matter of when

Hi, What is your opinion of small doses of topical dutasteride in trichosol solution? For example topical dutasteride 0.01% three times a week with microneedling. Would it be effective without side effects? In mesotherapy they use it at that concentration by injecting it into the scalp 1 time every 3 months.

Or in my case, no sides. But doing nothing, possible harm.
things just getting worse? or maintenance at least? I'm curious where you get topical finasteride. To be honest, I got sides from finasteride but I want to at least maintain what I got and stop the damn shedding. Thanks!

I’ve lost a ton of density and hairline is now receiving fast including forelock. My guess is it not working.

Chemistry Rx in Philadelphia makes it.

There was a human study with topical finasteride which showed no results at all for hair even though blood DHT had been reduced by 40 percent. This implies getting side effects while also having no positive action.

There are also a few studies showing the inverse. My guess is it is far less effective with sides less likely. And possible the effectiveness is only the amount that goes systemic. Only reason it’s not on the market but compounded is safety concerns with transfer.

Why not add RU to compounded topical finasteride instead of crushing pills and dealing with filler?
