Yes the idea of topical finasteride has been suggested and discussed. Some people like Dr. Lee feel it is a 100% perfectly good replacement for internally ingested Propecia. Others feel there are absorption issues and pretty much everyone doesn't know how much or how often would be needed to do the job right. Thats what clinical studies are usually there for, but nobody has run one to see...
