One of my relatives has been taking it, he is 25 years old and he has pretty good hair unlike his younger brother who has been losing ground for sure. 99% coincidence but just my two cents

They're not stopping the disease, idiot. It doesn't give you more hair, it just puts more hair in the anagen phase at the same time. The miniaturization process is still going. This is a weaker minoxidil.
Hahhahahhjajjajajajajaj. Lol, you don’t even know what scar alopecia are .

I am also getting on metformin soon as my insulin and IGF-1 are too high, metformin lowers both, and both in excess are antagonistic to hair, metformin also is reported to lower DHEA levels as well.

Remember however that if you take metformin (not sure about topical), but you absolutely will eventually start losing your hair if you don't keep your vitamin b12 levels up, as metformin increases your usage of that vitamin and you can become depleted.

Anyone going to try this? I know that some suppliers of metformin had issues with NDMA contamination. This is partly the reason I stopped oral minoxidil; purchasing generic medication from Asia scares me after hearing about potentially dangerous contaminants.

Honestly I had no idea metformin would even work topically, if anyone figures out if it does, let us know.

And yeah, China gives no fucks not about foreigners and not about its own people, they'll put melamine into baby formula to cut the active product, or put newspaper into concrete when laying a foundation resulting in a building tipping over because the foundation crumbled.

There's a lot of be excited about, but there are also many reports of metformin causing hair loss. I'll be watching this but I'm not ready to try it myself.

Because it depletes you of b12 and pernicious anaemia is notorious for causing hair loss, I know, I've had it.

The problem with metformin is the medical research community moves very very slowly and for years it was nothing but stupid boomer doctors who didn't give a f*** about the outcomes of the medication they prescribed to patients just handing out metformin and being like "deal with the sides yo".

Boomers are terrible, so much bad has come of the way boomers did things.

You get your b12 shots, you don't lose hair, simple.
