It has been shown to reduce DHT.

Second, people have been taking NO mainly to increase blood flow, good for athletes, ED, and hair.
However the papers discuss that this will deliver only minute quantities to the scalp. If NO indeed inhibits DHT
there are now topical NO gels one can buy. They are used for sex enhancement.
on e has to get NO and not a substance that induced NO in order to make sure that the concentration in the scalp increases significantly...


any thoughts?

I posted that here a while ago.. The problem is with topicals, they need to work locally which is tough to achieve. Topical nitrate ( nitroglycerine )will be quickly synthesized and won't work locally.

Miconazole works locally inhibiting cytochrome p450.

It seems there are gels that deliver directly and topically NO. It seems like a cheap add on, some take it oral here but again the quantities that will reach the scalp will be small as per that research i mentionned...

It will increase the speed of wound repair.. just like Minoxidil does.. Look up L-arginine and wound healing. Any vasodilator booster will help with wound healing, nitrates, l-arginine, folate, GPLC, hydrogen sulfide... Will probably helps angiogenesis as well,

The important think is the environment where the hair are feeding from...the scalp.. Faster scalp recovery, faster new hair growth process.
