topical spironolactone

hi all.
i have been thinking about starting using topical spironolactone.
i did read dr. lee and have an idea about it, however i have tried propecia for a while and stopped when side effects started, and i am terrified of side effects.
plus theres the questions of how many success stories the spironolactone has.
does anyone remember ppl saying that spironolactone worked for them?

fact is no one has tried it long enough to post accurate results/pictures etc.

I've read guys here say that topical spironolactone works about as well as
oral finasteride. Don't recall seeing any pictures though. If i could
guarantee that I'd drop finasteride but I'd hate to regress.

Seems like Dr Lee claims that somewhere on his site as well.

I have been on s5 cream for 2 months now but again, way to early to post results. I use it to compliment my other treatments and would not replace finasteride with it.
