With the pain shed associated with washing these days Jm dialing back to almost once a week. I have no sebum build up. I do however seem to get the itch about an hour after taking Propecia.

I read the itch is a real indicator of DHT doing its dirt. Is there something to fight the itch reduce scalp DHT that doesn’t require washing?

I had used a topcial steroid a while back but read that also is bad long term, scalp skin thinning?

The itch is an indication of an allergic inflammatory reaction. Obviously you have some type of scalp dermatitis going on. You need to use some type of non steroidal anti-inflammatory. Try using using an oil like marula or emu oil.
