Topical vs Oral finasteride? As effective as each other?

Hi everyone

I posted here the other day and the consensus was I need to start finasteride straight away. I’m now in the process of doing that but I’ve heard mixed things about topical vs oral finasteride.

Are they as effective as each other?

Does the fact the oral route is systemic make that route more effective?

I’m happy to pay more for topical to avoid the risk of sides but only if it’s going to be as effective.

What have your experiences been?

Thank you very much! I am new here I’m actually not sure what RU is or where I can get it? I’m also not sure if it’s possible to get topical fluticasone in the UK or where it might be possible to find it?

if u want hair take oral finasteride/dutasteride in doses high enough to feminize you and if you want some hair but not turn into a woman go low dose topical or something or look into fluridil. no pain no gain

I been using Topical Finasteride for 9+ years as oral gave me sides, Topical does work and the side effects are more minimal should you be the 2%.
