I think I would stay away from BA Hair Apparent. It used to be good but then all sorts of troubles happened and it changed drastically. If you would have seen all the comments from people wanting refunds and not getting them(although I did get one, though that was before the spit hit the spam) you would know it would be risky to try them.
As for Toplace, which BA had before he went off on his own, I am not sure about them either. I went to two conventions(which Toplace had when BA was there but don't anymore) and met John, who owns Toplace now. He seemed like a nice guy. The only thing I don't like is the reports that he deletes comments on their forum if they are not complimentary of the hairpieces. That concerns me. And I still have some questions as to how John took over Toplace from BA and why he sued BA to prevent him from selling hairpieces in the U.S.
So I can't really recommend someplace wholeheartily anymore. But you may want to try Northwest Lace. They are a new company started by a guy named Eric who used to be a regular contributer(and moderator on both I think) to the forums on Toplace and BA Hair Apparent, and was pretty well-liked and respected by most people. Other than that, I did send for a template kit from Hairdirect when I first started thinking about wearing, but then I changed my mind and sent it back, and they were very nice and understanding and refunded me right away, so I think that their customer service is pretty good, and I have heard that said by other people.
Sorry if that doesn't help very much, but yeah, I would definitely stay away from BA Hair Apparent, and if you want to try Toplace, I can't say I would recommend them but I don't think they wouldn't refund you if you needed to(though I can't be sure because if someone complains on the forum it might get deleted).
BTW, this should probably have been in the hairpiece section, not the concealer section.
