Just try it and see how you like it. You won't need much.

Yeah just keep in mind to get a shade lighter than your hair, like I have dark brown and the medium brown does the trick. I'd say my situation is kinda like yours, it certainly puts your mind at ease on pleasant days but if it's windy don't hassle about it just wear a hat a lot of people wear hats anyway
