Tribulus

What do you guys think about tribulus in dealing with finasteride sides? Do you think it would make things worse (more test = more estrogen?).

Btw, Enden if you read this: I've been on 60mg zinc a day (mine come in 15mg caps chelated zinc with a bit of copper so..cant do 50) and i've cut down to .25 mg of finasteride a day and i've really seen a big difference. Within a day of doing this my semen quality/ejaculations were just about back to normal..and ive had morning erections like every other day...also after the first day of cutting down to .25mg i was horny the entire day and was pretty much at least semi hard most of the day lol. Also, like i said in the other thread I pretty much stopped getting morning erections on .5mg and when i did have them they would be weak. The day after I dropped the dose I had a morning erection that was absolutely 100% strength

I know you were concerned and advised that I get off finasteride completely and not just cut down, but the smaller dose does seem to have alleviated the sides i was experiencing almost immediately. The return to normal ejaculations alone tells me that there has been a physical difference in sides, so I'm hoping that maybe my system has bounced back quickly.

So, anyway whats everyones opinion on tribulus when it comes to dealing with finasteride sides, restoring sex drive etc. and if anyone has used it I'd be interested to hear if you cycled it (took it for awhile and stopped) or if you've had to take it steadily for a long period.

I was thinking of taking it to ensure that my test level is where it should be, but I thought to myself ehh i dunno..im 23 years old..shouldnt have a problem naturally producing test..and i was worried that more test might = more estrogen and have a negative effect.

thanks guys

Yeah im also wondering if the extra test would negate the finasteride, because you'd be increasing DHT as well due to there being more test

Very good. Thanks for the update, chris :)

Nothing to worry about. I'm on TRT, and my testosterone level is probably above the range. I'm using 1 mg finasteride a day, and 100 mg Telogen Effluvium a week. No problem regarding hair loss at all.

Im going to look into trying tribulus then and see how it goes. I believe my test has been kind of low lately (been tired a lot...had a few days where i was feeling sort of depressed and just BLAH..havent been 'johnny on the spot' when it comes to sex as much as i'd like)..maybe itll help

It has been proven that Tribulus doesn't have ANY systemic effects on testosterone. Talking about balancing out the testosterone boost from tribulus is absolutely ludicrous.

I heard its more focused on ridding the body of "bad" estrogens. Maybe im wrong though.

Tribulus may have decent synergistic effect with other stuff but probably won't do much alone.
