There is a new site online dedicated to the cause of Neda - the young girl murdered by her own government last week in the post-election protests in Iran.

I am only posting this link because i want it picked up by search engines.

I think that site may become the official tribute site to her cause - and she has become the "face" of their revolution. So I want the story out there.

It is very very graphic and does show her dying. So please be careful before watching. Or don't watch at all.

That story broke all over the US before we Americans ever saw a pic.

There is probably a degree of truth to what you are saying, but it's not that simple.

My understanding is, she became the face of the cause because:

- Her death was filmed. A truely tragic event
- Her fiance is a photographer/journalist, ie, he probably has a few connections and he must have initiated the spread of the story.
- Her name. Neda means calling, ie, it's a calling for the people to wake up.
