Go look at some pictures of yourself when you were really young. Holy ****ing ****, it feels weird. I feel such a gigantic gap between myself and my childhood self now that I am bald. Before I felt it as well but now it's just overwhelming.

It trips me out that I used to be a kid. Baldness truly destroys your youth, so it's bizarre thinking about your ultimate youth (childhood)

I look back and wish I could shake myself. I used to put an ungodly amount of hair pomade in my hair so I could slick it straight back. (I wanted to look like Robert De Niro in the Godfather part II). That was my "look" through high school and Uni. They I grew my hair long like Antonio Banderas in Desperado.

Those were fun times. Now I'm afraid of putting any product in my hair because I want to treat it like a delicate treasure. I only use organic hair products. And even then I use very little.

yea but childhood pictures are another level than just pics of yourself with hair. you feel so far separated from that childhood innocence that it is scary

This reminds me so much of the song "take a picture" by Filter, it reminds me of my hair falling out all at once and my last year of work before calling it quits, my dad passed away soon after this song was made. It's sad to be bald and be in a job that you know is only temporary, when I heard this song all that I was hanging on to(my youth) and my beliefs, just vanished in that moment, I'll never be the same again.
