Trying Finasteride at a Lower Dose. Anyone had success?

i was on finasteride for about 12 days and got some pretty drastic sides from it which were potentialy from me constantly reading propecia help although i doubt it as the sides seemed very very real. has anyone had success eliminating sides by having a very low dose?

and why would you constantly read Propeciahelp when starting on finasteride? :doh:

lowering the dose (below about 0.5mg per day) may reduce sides but consequently may not supress enough DHT to help hairloss, so would be worthless anway. You could try tapering up from a small dose to larger

im only 19 and for the life of me i couldnt get an erection if i tried (week earlier like every other horny teenager) , testical aches (not sure if you can imagine this one) and heart palputations probably from reading propecia help profusily although this could of also been a result of using 1 mg minoxidil oraly at the same time (most of these sides went from moderate to terrible after quitting) . I have been losing my hair since the age of 16-17 and the process atm is very slow it sucks that im balding so early but im happy its not agressive and i have slown it down with the use of ketaconozol and natural hair sprays and shampoos with saw palmetto etc, i use to use minoxidil but it gave me terible zombie eyes which sucks. so i think on a lower dose it would help to at least maintain but i was wondering if anyone has had srastic sides restated treatment on a lower dose and eliminated sides or have you heard of people doing this
