Trying To Figure Out The Best Way To Apply Minoxidil Liquid

just a quick question......when I apply the liquid to my scalp should I massage it in or let it just absorb/dry without massaging it in? I just switched from the foam at night to liquid and I want to get the most out of it. I still use the foam in the morning since it dries so quickly

i apply it by rubbing the nozzle of the dropper on the scalp, it comes out on its own if you do that and also massages it in a little

to stop it from dripping on parts of the scalp i dont want it to go i make a kind of large "C" semicircle with my thumb and pointer around the place im applying it... that corrals it

Do you think the liquid is better than the foam? I use 5% foam 1x a day so far...would love a little more improvement I am a good responder..Im not sure if I should increase from to 2x a day..I also have a liquid 2 % but never bothered adding it.

Studies show 2x day gives better results.

In theory the liquid absorbs better. Anecdotally though people who've switched back and forth between the 2 seem to report they work about the same

I think going to 2x a day is your best bet for improving results moreso than worrying about foam vs liquid. If you do liquid use it only at night or when you won't be leaving the house. It looks terrible and takes 3+ hours to dry

I agree that you should definitely use it twice a day....the liquid should work a little better since it has propylene glycol which allows the minoxidil to penetrate the scalp better and the foam does not.....the downside is the liquid makes your hair super greasy and takes a long time to dry

I use Minoxidil liquid 1x a day for like 1 month and half, and I have many small hairs growing(Im a good responder ) on my hairline.

I put water on my scalp and massage and after I put 1ml of minoxidil all over the top and hairline and massage again.
