Turned 17 Two Months Ago.. Norwood 2?

I've noticed a change in my hairline and thinning - no history of balding on Mum's side.. one uncle on Dad's side who is bald but the rest all have thick hair even the older ones. Is this just my hairline "maturing" or should I be worried?

Your hair looks good.

Given your only 17 it is too early to act on anything.

I would try to worry as least as possible and just continue to monitor it every 3-4 months. If it progresses worse by age 18/19 then you could get on finasteride and maintain for many years.

At your current state, nothing is necessary, your hair is just fine.
