You're going through a NORMAL minoxidil shed. Give it 4 months bare minimum to notice any difference. Your best results will occur after 1 year.

You should see the beginnings of regrowth around 2-4 months, it takes around 12+ for maximum benefit. I have also lost a lot of hair since using the foam but can see lots of small new hairs growing so it's definately promising.

I can see some small hair but very very thin ...

you have to understand how hair growth works to understand why it takes time for minoxidil to work.

your hair grows in cycles, it grows and grows, then stops, sticks around for a bit, then falls out and starts a new cycle.

minoxidil will make it come back thicker with each following cycle.

but hair cycles don't happen in 1 week, they take months, that's why it takes time to work.

This happened to me too. My hair deteriorated more in my 3 weeks on the foam than it has in 7 years on finasteride. I had to quit. People say it grows back but I think we all know that its easier to keep what you got than hope something grows back. Nah its not for me man. Even if it grew back somewhat and started to thicken, it would take a near miracle for my hair to be back where it was when i started the foam.

I have been using minoxidil liquid for about 18 months and it has been helping me maintain my hairline, I only switched to foam because of the hype I have read on here. Bad move. The old cliche, 'if it aint broke, don't fix it' comes to mind

Im now back on minoxidil liquid (without Propylene Glyco, from Dr Lee). We'll see if things settle down.

Don't be too discouraged by my post though becuase the foam seems to work wonders for most. I think it was my long-term use on minoxidil liquid first that caused the massive shed after switching to the foam. Im sure things would have settled on the foam, but I just believe the damage done in the settling phase would have been too great to justify staying with the foam.
