Should i take Finasteride and Minoxidil now or wait for few months thinking its Telogen Effluvium?

All of a sudden in oct and nov 2018, i use to see 100+ hairs while oiling. in Nov and Dec 2018 family, friends and many people noticed my diffuse hair thinning. now, Jan 2019, head looking same, and 30-60 hairs while oiling once a day, which looks like somewhat normal. (normal hair loss per day and hair loss while oiling has lots of difference :( )

Actually I started noticing very little less decline in hair density from year 19 (2 years ago), but no one including family and friends were agreeing that my hair is not normal. I also remember that my hair density was little low and hair shafts are thin from childhood, but no problem with hair styling.

At first, i thought it is androgenetic alopecia because out of 50-70 hairs while oiling, around 10 hair were miniaturized hairs(this minute hairs, i used to see this from childhood) & people use to say 99% of cause of men hair loss is Androgenetic Alopecia. But my hair line is just like when i was 10 year old(NW0). and hairs in temple is not miniaturized. Then i thought it is DUPA, I checked all photos of people with DUPA, they all have NW1 or NW2 with diffuse thinning all over head, i found no one with NW0 + diffuse thinning.

Now its hard to accept if i have Androgenetic Alopecia and go with finasteride, i never went to doctor/specialist because i saw their reviews(of top few hair clinic of city) and got to know that many people were prescribed with Finasteride and their problem becoming worst and I also saw doctor saying 99.99% men hair fall is due to DHT.

now there not a little improvement in hair growth + looks like little more shredded from 2 months. dont know the cause.

Anyone have idea about the causes for my hair loss type?
I would be happy if it looked like NW1 or NW2 because i can go with finasteride and save my hair.

1. I was getting angry and over reacting to in all situations. less social. broken windows, TV, mobile, etc while i'm angry(from school days). sexual function are active.
2. Daily exercise from 4+ years. daily eggs + good food. (im veg, only eggs)
3. From 1 week taking biotin 10mg, zinc 10mg, iron 15mg, folic acid 200mcg, evion(vit e) 200mg. herbal hair cream with bringaraja, amla, grap seed extract from 1 month. hair loss mild shampoo daily + ketokonazol 2% shampoo once a week from one month.
4. no dandruff, no itching.
5. no symptoms of underactive throid, less/more T, less/more DHT, or more prolactin. But mood swings from many months.
6. no history of family baldness. my cousins, my mom and dad's cousins(plenty of them who meet in marriages) and their sons. some of them are blad at 60s, but they became bald after 40 or 50 as per my parents.
7. nofap from just 5 days.
8. working in front of computer for 12+ hours from 7 months in home.
9. no body fat from childhood. 4 packs visible.
10. bulk pimples appearing stopped 5-6 months ago.
11. no stressful events from a year. but extreme angry is there from many years which turn into stress for that full day, once or twice a week.
12. its looking like problem is not solving and increasing in slow rate which is like male pattern baldness :(

My next step: wait for 2 more months till feb 28th with vitamins/nutrients/stress management/cardio/head massage.

I was lurking this forum from last 30 days, i didnt like to mess up forum posting same problems many people post here. I'm now stuck in decision whether to take finasteride+minoxidil or just vitamins/nutrients/stress management. I will appreciate your help and I will try to help people here with knowledge i have.

Thank you very much for replying my long post. I'm not afraid of accepting male pattern baldness or taking Finasteride. At 18 year old i got little beard only at chin, now at 21 yo, think beard only at chin, transperant vellus is there from a year at other beard area but not growing. some of my classmates of my age have it only on chin, may be it will grow in next few years. Finasteride may interfere with this, that is why im afraid now. :( My father, uncles and cousins on both sides have full beard and full hair.

from last 7 months, i had frequent and enormous mood swings all days, sometime overconfident, sometime over fear, over happy for no reason, uncontrollable sexy like mood etc. Sleep apnoea from past 4-6 month, at first i thought its obstractive sleep apnoea due to Sinusitis or sleeping position which is common. but yesterday i came to know that its central sleep apnoea which is not common. According to some studies, central sleep apnoea may also caused by high DHT, but i dont have other symtoms of high DHT.

there is a reason i want to take finasteride: 1. just few hairs are miniaturized while oiling(but i also remember hairs like this on oiling in childhood) and 2. i also remember i had less hair on top compared to sides last 1 or 2 years, meaning its slow progress for me (but my hairline is not receding or there is no abnormal miniaturized hairs at hairline & i also remember its also a sudden loss, still not growing back)

i do web designing as well as development work at home, 14+ hours sitting in from of pc, from last june. but i manage well by walking around and drinking water every hour. less/no social from 7 months. i control stress. but recently due to hair loss, i use to spend time reading forums and reading hair loss studies pdfs, due to this i lost a contract from my primary job provider.

and there are many complex things inter-related like:

* 4-5 months back, i use to do 1 hour weight exercise morning and evening with 1 day rest/week for 2 or 3 months.

* many months back, i also used to eat first meal at 1 or 2 pm and second meal at 7 or 8 pm. 2 times eating/day. (milk+egg at early morning)

* last year, 14-15 months back, there was classes at 6am, i use to leave home 5am without eating anything and first eat of day at 4/5 pm (for 3 months). i came accross a post in this forum who got hairloss due to low calorie weight loss diet (300-400/day), but it started just after

* at july or august 2018 i started daily handstand 2 times a day, 'head-blast' feeling is normal and goes away, but for me, just after handstand, i used to feel like my hairs are pulled very strongly just now, pain in all hair roots for 1-2 minutes only at top where its shedded after 3 months.

I asked people i know about this, but very few people said they do this, and they do this from childhood, meaning not even headblast also. I never did handstand from childhood. and there are many other things related which i have not documented. After these all studying about hairs, endocrines, etc. im having feeling like receding MBP can be directly stopped by treating hairs instead of controlling DHT and im more interested to make research on this, but im commerce degree student just completed commerce degree and doing software job!

No, my dad now NW0.5 or 1 at age 56.
Till 1970-80, indians used to think that if they abort, they may suffer from impotent in next life. means, my mom and dad have huge relatives. All my uncles, my mom-dad's cousins and their sons (my long-chain cousins), most of all of have good hair.

Yes get on finasteride asap if you'd like to keep your hair. Try .25 for first 6 months and see how it helps.
0.25 mg? will it work? will it not affect my beard growth. But i have no hope if i not saw any regrowth for next 1-2 months. plus, in that 1-2 months, i think hair is shedding more, i start 0.25 immidiately...

Hello, just to recap, I am a man and have DUPA hair loss (or female pattern hair loss), diffuse hair loss and thinning (back, sides and top) which started 3 years ago after an episode in my life where my alimentation was very bad and had nutrient deficiency for sure. After fixing my alimentation properly my hair are still shedding and thinning all over.

Since 8 month i only take 1mg finasteride / day (no reduction on my hair loss), cb0301 30mg topicaly with no reduction on my hair loss, Biotin (10mg/day), spearmint tea (4 cup/day to reduce free testosterone), Flaxseed (30 g/day to reduce testosterone)

Here is a complete blood test that I have done 3 weeks ago. It would be great if some of you may highlight some issue in it and maybe propose corrective action as he might help others with similar hair loss.

From my perspective, I think I have low zinc, low vitamin d, high prolactin level, high cortisol level and maybe iron deficiency as we can have it according to study even with normal level of blood iron.
