Unsure what to do.

I know my hair is thinning, when wet it looks thick as hell combed straight forward or backwards, and my parting isn't that bad at all. Just my hair is generally thin. I get 0 shedding if I pull on my hair.

Should I wait a month to see the derm or just get on finasteride, I mean surely it's just male pattern baldness right..? Even though it doesn't run on my family at all.

A dermatologist can tell you if you're experiencing minitiaurization or just a weird shed. Unfortunately family history isn't fool proof. My own family is lightly affected by hair loss but one of my uncles is shiny bald. All of his male relatives didn't go bald nearly as quickly as him, it happens.

Personally I think it's looking a bit thin up front but you have light hair and that's some very harsh lighting, so who knows.

So I should just not take finasteride until I'm 100 percent sure?

Also, its like that my whole hair when dry.. Its only because I cut the front having a mental episode. But it's still thin as hell, so idk... I guess I gotta wait a month I just wanna tackle it early.

I would wait till you see the dermatologist, you can hopefully save the hair with the BIG3.

Alternatively check Topical Finasteride,

Topical Finasteride or Dutasteride compound mixture with added anti androgen blockers. You could try the same mixture as me and see;

Lotion

15% Minoxidil
5% Azelaic Acid
0.1% Finasteride
0.25% Progesterone
0.025% Tretinoin
0.1% Hydrocortisone.
