I've definitely made some improvement, hope to keep getting more... I've also learned to style my hair better(which is easier with a little more hair), so I don't really have the appearance of balding. 22 years and 5 months old now.

Here are my pictures... just posted a new album today, and have the older albums for reference. I have lots of other pictures too, that I might also post some of.

thanks :)

by styling, I mostly mean "let the hair that goes over the temple area grow longer than my other hair"

works well.

Nice regrowth on this right temple and you look to have a good density all over.

Another success story to prove that treatments on the long term do work. You can give it 1year and an half to see the full potential of minoxidil on your hairs.

By the way could you tell us a bit how often you encountered sheds?

Congratulations again! :bravo:

i think you look good in the last pic however it is unclear weather you have improved your hair because it is longer. You have at the very least maintained

"are you on big 3?"

I am only on minoxidil and finasteride. I was using the shampoo for about a month, but I lost my bottle... since then I have just kept with minoxidil and finasteride.

"By the way could you tell us a bit how often you encountered sheds?"

I actually never really noticed any major sheds. I had my head shaved down for a long time, so during that time I wouldn't have noticed. Just recently I noticed some of my thinner hairs in the less dense area falling out, but it is hard to tell if it is shedding really, since they are all sorta thin and short anyways.

I agree somewhat, antonio666. My photobucket is working again, so now I will post some pictures from when I had somewhat long hair before(I had it even longer , then trimmed before I took my pictures), because I think those compare better.

BEFORE TREATMENT

PRESENT

I believe there is definitely some change in coverage, indicating I think that while the temples themselves may not have made huge progress in filling, the hair around the temples has made progress in becoming more dense.

Before I started treatment it seemed basically impossible to cover my temples well with what I had. Fanning the hair from the middle, there wasn't enough really to go to the left and to the right.

I think I noticed some improvement after 3-4 months of minoxidil. At that point I shaved my head. I think improvement has just been very gradual since then.

So I don't think it ever got worse, than it was at the beginning. But it was pretty bad at first...

Nice improvement :bravo:

Now it is time to do something about the acne (says a 25 year old acne and hair loss sufferer)!

I had been applying it basically wherever the hair was thin...so temples
I also applied it all around the hairline, where there is no hair but I hoped to stimulate more growth.

Ah, and Taugenichts, I basically have no problem with acne, I am lucky in this regard. I just get a little if I skip showering for a day or two, and then I pick at em so they don't go away for awhile ;p
