Update - Big Three :s

So here's my update following my last post on my regimen.

Having added finasteride at the end of June, starting on .25 then working my way up to 1.25 (current dosage), my hairline is STILL getting steadily worse and worse and worse Its really gutting. This would put me at 6-7 Months on finasteride full dosage. Would upping the dose help at all?

My only hope however is that rather than this being the finasteride not working, it is just kicking out the crappy hairs? I have heard that a lot of people have had their hair get worse before it gets better? Or do I kick Finasteride and go for dutasteride?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

RU58841 works great at hairline often. Anyway 6-7 months is still to early to judge.. If it doesn't get better at 1 year mark, then dutasteride could be next step indeed.

Thanks swoop....I hope so! Its certainly very demoralizing when you're on a serious regimen yet nothing manifests itself results-wise.

Ive heard of RU58841....is it available ready-made or do you make it yourself?

I feel you that sucks. It's available ready-made but I mix it myself personally. It's very easy to do. Who knows though perhaps you'll stabilize soon with finasteride and if not you can look for other options. Good luck!

Hi Swoop, Im new here and looking for alternatives to using finasteride. I googled RU and Im interested in trying this out but how do you make this. Could you please give us more info on this, and have you gotten positive results? Tia.
