As wretched society is towards hair loss sufferers, I sincerely believe that there are many more human beings out there who genuinely care and sympathize for us who have to deal with the burden of hair loss, they just don't stand out very well. As you stated yourself, thankfully, most people dislike the definitions.
People by default feel superior to those who are loosing hair. Its one of those traits that automatically makes you look and feel inferior around others. Even if facialy and physically gifted, people just feel like they are that much better when around you.
Children have low inhibition and tend to tell it how it is. Adults on other hand will de-rail and give make shift response in favor of sufferer. Reality is they feel seem way but are conditioned to give a more sensitive response.
