Using A Smaller Amount Of Recommended Minoxidil

Hello everyone
I would like to know if using only say 0.5 ml of minoxidil daily only on my temple is effective.
The recommended dose daily is 2ml(liquid minoxidil) However if i dont want to apply it to my whole scalp and i want to use it only one my temples,then surely i wont need to put the whole 2 ml right?i can put only say 0.5 ml?
Is it logical what i am saying

Minoxidil is dose dependent. 0,5ml will work fine but you know, with 1ml the results will be better. personally I would stick with 1ml cause the stuff is cheaper
