Using Revita shampoo

The instructions say to apply it, leave it for 2 minutes, then rinse, apply again and leave it for 5 minutes. Is there any reason it needs to be applied twice at one time, or do they just want to make you use more so you will buy another bottle sooner?

I used to use it once, but then I switched to applying it twice.

Someone in this forum commented that the first application is probably to clean the scalp and the second application is to make those ingredients work.

I personally think my hair feels nicer after two applications, I can't really comment on its effectiveness as a hair growth stimulator as I don't know if it makes any difference whether I apply it once or twice.

it's most likely just to clean dirt from the hair so the ingredients can reach the scalp more efficiently.

i'd say use a regular shampoo for the first application, and revita for the second. that's what i do with nizoral... no need to waste it.

In a very polite manner, I would like to point out a flaw in your thinking.

nizoral is supposed to work on the scalp and not on the hair strands. In a way, nizoral is not your normal everyday shampoo. So, cleaning the hair so that nizoral can work on the hair is pointless, also many people point out that nizoral actually dries the hair.

nizoral is a potent medicinal shampoo, and leaving it on for 5 mins should be more than enough.

but doesn't cleaning the hair first also clean the scalp thereby (possibly) letting the nizoral work better?

Since revita contains Ketoconazale I'm going to stop using nizoral, although I never had much of a problem with it.

I have to agree with you there. I recently added nizoral into my regimen. Without a conditioner my hair will probably feel very dry, but I always apply a conditioner after nizoral and my hair feels absolutely fine.

I use nizoral twice a week and Revita in between.

Don't know what flaw you're pointing out since you're basically repeating what I said, but thanks for ur opinions!! :bravo:
