My donner hair can only can provide about 3k grafts .I've contacted several clinics who think they can pull about 3k grafts only by looking back of my head. It'll be my first hair transplant.

I'm norwood 5.

Some clinics suggest they can use my beard hair for a top up. But other clinics have said beard hairs won't make any difference as you will only get a small amount of grafts similar to an eyebrow which you won't be able to tell the difference.

So my question is . Is it worth paying alittle extra to use beard as well and back of my head for donnor areas ?

I've seen hundreds of hair transplants, and using beard hair for the crown can still be effective. You're right that the texture is different—beard hair is typically thicker—but it still does a great job camouflaging thinning areas. When blended properly with the existing hair, most people won’t notice the difference in texture unless they’re closely analyzing your scalp

So is it worth paying an extra 200 euros for extracting some beard hair as well

if that's your only option, and you want to see more hair follicles, yes. in the grand scheme $200 isn't much money for you to feel more confident.

Yeah thanks . It's only because I've spoken to some clinics who say what's the point of beard hair when you can get about 3 to4k from back of my head. But other clinics are happy to use my beard as well as the back of my head lol.

So I don't know what to expect
