I'm interested in experiences from people that have been doing it for a long time. Seemingly every post is at most a year or so, but oftentimes months (still with results). If it is indeed restorative (reduces fibrosis), than we would expect increasingly good results over the years. Could anybody share? (I realize people that have success aren't lurking around here, but who knows...)

It's a relatively new thing. I'm not sure anyone has been doing it for many years.

I dunno, the earliest messages are from 2013 or so but I does seem to have gotten popular more recently

If you wanna cause breakage of hair and skin scarring go ahead. Needling is only used for minoxidill penetration, People who claims regrowth from soley microneedling are trolls and want to cause damage to your hair so you also become bald like the sad trolls.

Who cares about "hair breakage"? Seriously. If you've got an aggressive balding condition, breaking a few hairs is the least of your concerns. If you don't have an aggressive balding condition then it would be barely noticeable. Either way it's an irrelevance.

Also, I don't see any good reason to believe who that people who find benefit in micro needling are "trolls who want you to go bald".

Why you dont use peppermint essential oil is beyond me. Thats the very thing that reduces my shedding of all the essential oils. Dont you know that peppermint contains menthol? Which leads to widening of blood vessels, a study even proves peppermint oil to be as effective as 2% minoxidill. And if you got an aggressive balding condition then why arent you on finasteride/dutasteride? Damn hilarious.

Next time I put an order in, I will get peppermint oil. :) Thanks for the tip. I guess it's just a case of if I'm slathering 4 different types of oil on my head all the time ... that's kind of weird ... and also I don't know how they all interact etc.

But I think you're right. I think I'll substitute the lavander oil with the peppermint oil. Although my suspicion is that none of them really do much. They still feel nice.

I'm not on finasteride due to the systematic side-effects. I'd rather go completely bald than emasculate myself. A bit more hair would be a "nice to have". I'm not that desperate for it. Done quite well being shaved no.0 for the past 15 odd years. Having said that ... I think will add topical finasteride. Seems like a pretty good compromise to me.
