Malignant murine melanoma (BL6-F10) cells convert arachidonic acid primarily to PGD2, PGF2alpha, PGE2, PGI2 in descending order of magnitude. Supplementation with 1-10 microg/ml vitamin E succinate resulted in a significant (P < or = 0.05) decrease in PGD2 levels at vitamin concentrations of 3, 5, 7 and 10 microg/ml respectively, while PGF2alpha levels were significantly decreased at 1, 3, 5 (P < or = 0.05), 7 and 10 microg/ml (P < or = 0.01) vitamin E succinate. BL6-F10 cells supplemented with 7 and 10 microg/ml vitamin E succinate showed a marked increase in PGE2 levels with a significant increase occurring at 10 microg/ml (P < or = 0.025). PGI2 levels followed a similar trend to PGE2 with a significant increase (P < or = 0.05) occurring at 10 microg/ml.

Vitamin E succinate has been discussed in the past...too lazy to look up why. I think that Maxi-Hair supplement contains it :woot:

Just read that Maxi contains 50 IU, while you can get 400 IU caps separately.

We should try it internally and topically.

Quercetin is also a PG-D2 inhibitor. Lots of stuff to try. Is DMSO the only carrier we can use?

Ginger & White Willow tincture might be interesting alternatives to aspirin

Never heard of it, but after some Googling, perhaps it is. A topical Vitamin E Succinate is still more interesting to me.

Perhaps we're deficient in E Succinate.

would your body convert a vitamin e supplement into succinate?? how much would you have to take?

would topical vitamin e products become oxidised before being able to do anything worthwhile?

The greens which may feature Vitamin E Antioxidant are perfect to have a look at. Included in these are such food products as corn and also asparagus. These are typically a couple of the highest sorts of home grown vegetables that can have E Vitamin.

Plant natural oils would also carry this vitamin. Some of these oils are based mostly off from many very popularly used home grown vegetables from all around the world. Examples include these fresh vegetables as corn.

Many other oils which have E Vitamin can include sunflower oil as well as soy bean oils. Cotton-seed oil also provides many E Vitamin involved. in reality, virtually any food product which is made up of one of these herbal oils may have this vitamin inside it.

Vitamin E also helps to be aware there are several natural supplements which also provide health benefits E Vitamin. These kinds of vitamin supplements function in a number of forms and offer a multitude of different aspects of amount values. This is often helpful for people that will be sensitive to wheat gluten products. This is particularly significant simply because of how whole wheat items are probably the most frequently used foods and nutrients that may have the vitamin.

These are generally all perfect foods and nutrients that provide Vitamin E Antioxidant. These food products will continue to work with all forms of distinctive healthy and balanced criteria and shapes. It's always fantastic to check out how every one of these foods and nutrients are available in the normal person's healthy eating plan.

Decreased PGD2 and increased PGE2?

Sounds promising.

Of course, a murine model in vitro study always has be taken with a grain of salt.

Any news of this? Would be interested to use this as topical rather than orally. Maybe it would be possible to break up a capsule and add it to the castor oil dmso combo?

edit: Am not a chemist and dont mix much so tell me if my calculation is wrong or in the VIt E in this oil being used not being potent enough:
https://www.iherb.com/pr/Rexall-Sundown-Naturals-Vitamin-E-Oil-70-000-IU-2-5-fl-oz-75-ml/32925

Would this possibly work as well with some DMSO plus 0,3mm Dermaroller? 400 IU are 10mcg. 70000 IU/75ml = 933 IU / ml. Maybe 25% DMSO, 1.5% Grapefruit Oil (limonene = + PGE2, also penetration enchancer), then 50% of this Oil (466 IU=11,66 mcg) and 23,5% castor oil?
