Hi all just turned 27. Do you think it’s too early to get a transplant? Would love some feed back. Last photo is what I want to go for, tried all sorts of other alternatives. Thank you

Yes you should get a transplant, I had one at 25 , now 30 , I will go for a second one to improve density. You are in your prime years Wilson

I wouldn't. You look like yet another poster that is not going bald.

I dunno. If you want a super-low hairline like a Neanderthal, then go for it I guess. It's your head.

Do you have any photos of your transplant? My hairline density has definitely decreased and it just bums me out. Feel like a little transplant would help me out a lot

And I know as of right now I’m not a NW5 but my hairline is slowly receding, I want to be able to have good hair in my late 20s early 30s

Do what you want. Hair loss has to start somewhere and the earlier you treat it, the better. You should add finasteride to your regimen if you want to maintain your hair after a transplant.

Your hair looks relatively unchanged from your original posts in 2019. It still looks good. Also, your father has a high hairline and receded temple points but still good coverage, so that’s a good sign for you (although nothing is guaranteed). Your proposed hairline is low and you run the risk of having further recession behind it. Also if your temple points recede like your dad that will create an unnatural look. There are countless stories of guys who went too aggressive with their hairlines and ended up with a bigger problem later.

I think you should stick to your treatments at least another 6-12 months and monitor.

You sound bitter, you waited 20 years to treat your hair loss, what is wrong with trying to treat it early?
I'm not bitter and I'd be happy to keep shaving my head all my life.

I'm just sick of all these guys who aren't even going bald dominating the forum. It's absurd. This guy looks like he's not even going bald and wants a hair transplant. That's next level even for this place.

You would need more than 1000 grafts to get any kind of density in even the medium size area you have drawn out.

I also don't think many reputable surgeons would perform this, it looks more like a cosmetic issue to lower hairline rather than replace lost hair, which would run the risk of creating a gap if your natural hairline receeds. This would be a very bad look for you and the clinics reputation.

I'm not 100 percent but I'd say its to early at this point.
