Warren Ellis actually has reasonably good density. And if toppik works for you, you must have too so don't worry so much. The toppik looks like glitter and derm match like paint for me.

If he can grow it out and some of it - even a few hairs - in the Nw6 area are not miniature and can actually be combed, then I'd say that it's good density for over 35. There's still coverage on his head. It's miles better than the Hulk Hogan, for example.

People on this part of the forum are extremely, severely bald. They'd be grateful for hair like that. Notice
-it's world beating density for a guy over 50. E.g. go back in time and imagine that 10 years before when he was in his 40s, the density must have been even better.
-If you look from the front at his hairline (what would be his hairline) and keep looking along his head your eyes arrive at hair around the middle or rear third. It's not pure forehead as your eyes go from his eyebrows to up behind his head like Hulk Hogan or Larry David.
So yes it's good density.

How can one be "severely" bald? One is either bald or balding(in the context in which we are conversing about)........

Norwood 7 is more severely bald than Norwood 6 for example. Those things matter when you are considering transplants and systems. Norwood 5 and beyond we can call them all bald. So, for example, Norwood 6 and Norwood 5 are both bald but NW6 is more severely bald.

The small island and those very few fine hairs in the NW1 area are something. Each hair is worth something. Imagine if he had the Hulk Hogan and tried to pull off that look; it just wouldn't work the same way.

Yes but he has an improper hairline. Hulk Hogan doesn't have one. That is worth something. People on this part of the forum have given up on looking like they have a full head of hair. Almost all would settle to go from 'bald' to 'balding but it doesn't look that bad'. And his could arguably be classed as the latter.

I might. But note that many specialists don't want to operate on Norwood 7 guys who will have a result like this, even if the guy wants it. They have a minimum required density over a minimum required area of the head. They don't want guys like you to say bad things about their work.

i see. but if you are satisfied with such a result i think you should definitely go for it and try to find a surgeon who is willing to do it. live is short
