Water retention side-effect from minoxidil

Just started minoxidil 2x per day three days ago and I already have this bloated face and dark bags under my eyes. But I don't want to mess with my hormones by switching to finasteride. Do any of you have this problem? If so, did it fade and if it didn't how do you deal with it?

Damn, that water retention side effects really scares me. Is it possible to just reduce the dosage when it appears? I already am one ugly f***, I can´t afford to become even uglier.

I think you might be putting too much on.

Try using less of it.

Why dont people use the search button!, if you did you'd find Duretics are good for dealing with water retention especially Herbal ones, also drink 2 litres of water a day.

if it does cause any water retention, its only slight. Only certain people would be sensitive to this side effect. Don't worry that much about it.
