Waxy and shiny scalp serum

Is this due to my hair loss? Ever since my hairline has become a NW2 I have had a lot of shiny and waxy serum on my forehead. It is coming out of my pores big time. What causes this to happen? Will it ever go away in the long run?

i had this. the tricologist sed u shud wash ur hair everyday. its a common fault, people washing ther hair say twice a week. washing ur hair does not promote hair loss she sed.
