My father was 62 when I was born (passed away now) and my hairloss started when I was 19. You think it's possible for our genes to retain a certain "memory" of our parent's age and for that to accelerate our own aging process?
I only ask because I met someone who's father had him when he was 60 and he started losing his hair in the same pattern as me when he was 18. It sounds weird but I've pondered the thought even before I met this dude with an eerily similar scenario.
Anyone know of any studies done of parents age and birth defects or anything of the sort? I'd be real appreciative if I could get some serious feedback.
And yes, I'm quite aware of DHT and the known causes of male pattern baldness.

I havent heard of anything like this. The oats dont know the age. :)
Even if something like this is a possibility...why bother now...nothing can be done.

I don't think so. My dad, who's got a full head of hair, was in his 20s when I was born and I started losing it when I was 17-18.
