I'm kinda concerned and confused about my strange hairline. There's a gap about 6cm across and half a cm high in the middle. Early in my teens I had a bad habit of curling my hair around my finger and yanking it out and I thought that was it but recently I swear the gap is VERY slowly growing. No one in my family has male pattern baldness, my granddads and their granddads have full heads of hair. And apart from my strange hairline I'm alright, hair is thick and crown is perfect. I've done lots of research but I've never seen anything like this. Could it just be a maturing hairline? I'm so baffled and worried I'd really appreciate any responses! Thanks in advance!
(and ya don't be concerned by the flakes, I've got seborrheic dermatitis but it's under control for the most part and it doesn't cause hair loss except from excessive scratching iirc which I do none of)
