Hey.
First post, Just a quick background
So I'm a 27 year old Perth guy who has been losing for about 3 years now.

I'm pretty tired of wearing a hat, picking hair out of whatever I'm leaning over
and constantly checking the mirror to fold my hair in way that stops it looking so damn thin.

Found this site at the start of the year and have been lurking for a while.

Been using 5% Min x2 daily for 7 months now and picked up some nizoral at the start of June to stop the snow fall.

Suffered through the Min induced early-shed, but was encouraged in a weird way by the thickening of my eyebrows.
Surely if they are growing the rest of my hair is as well.

Had another big shedding episode a month back that has hit me hard.
Reading the success stories, I'm convinced that I need to add finasteride to my regime.
At least then I know that I'm doing all I can.

I went to my regular doctor today and said that I'd like to start finasteride, requesting a prescription.
She refused to give me one, arguing that my hair loss was not that bad and that she would get in trouble for prescribing it to me.

^ This is me at the moment.

Which brings me to my question.
Is she right?
Where do you reckon I should go from here?
Does anyone here know of a doctor in Perth WA that would be more willing to prescribe some finasteride?

I don't want to waste time and let my follicles die.

My GP gave me a 1 month prescription, but I see him regularly. I never used it.

Just so you know it's Aud$90 a month.

Try a derm they maybe more willing.
