What Are My Chances Of Recovery After 2 Weeks Of Propecia?

Hello,
I recently tried to take Propecia as a means of halting and perhaps reversing my receding hairline. I had heard the horror stories but was largely informed by my dermatologist as well as my general doctor that my fears about developing sexual side effects and other physical problems were unfounded.
Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case, as I have developed what I would call a moderate case of erectile dysfunction along with a host of other symptoms including slightly decreased sensitivity and watery semen as a result of my intake of this medication. I stopped using Propecia about 2 weeks ago now, and foolishly, opted to take nutrafol, a herb blend that includes saw palmetto, for perhaps 4 more days before I realized that Nutrafol may be worsening my symptoms.
So all in all I would say it has been approximately 10 days since I discontinued all DHT blocking supplements. I have since suffered from great terror in realizing that I may have made a grand mistake, and no longer fear losing my hair as a consequence of this new dilemma.
I suppose I am posting just to see if I still have a chance of recovery, I feel as though I had a "crash" about a week ago, but have made modest improvements that seem to fluctuate since then. My mental clarity has increased morning erections have returned periodically.
I know it is mere conjecture, but any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Man, I've read many testimonials like your and it seems like the statistics actually are in your favor. You may have to ride this for a few more weeks before it gets better but more often than not people fully recover. Sides persisting over 6 months or into years are very rare though they seem real and life altering. So be calm and chive on! Eat right, sleep enough and have a positive attitude man!

Thanks a lot man, it really means a great deal right now. I had no clue that this drug could be so debilitating. I'll try my best to stay positive and work on myself while my condition hopefully improves.

I am really not getting better still. I can't believe this is happening. My hair loss really wasn't all that bad. I was just afraid because I'm only 23. I have lost my appetite. Can't sleep, and my muscles are seeming to rot away to nothing. Has anyone ever recovered after a crash like mine?

You have only been off propecia for 3 weeks. Most, if not all people get eventually better.

You’re not crashing, what’s happening is that you’re in some sort of depressive loop. The can’t eat can’t sleep issues are stemmed from your anxiety of recovering. Change your outlook, the way you’re reacting isn’t healthy for you.. I’ve taken finasteride for 1+ year and got off and was back to normal within a month. But the first 2 weeks were a little scary, mostly due to not knowing the end point of my recovery

I'm 22 and facing similar side-effects. I have been off it for 2+ weeks and things are getting a little scary. Though, I am definitely experiencing a marginal improvement.

Did your side-effects fully subside?? How long did it take?
