Hi there everyone. I’m new to this forum as I just came from the Hair System forum & was convinced to try concealers first. They said I had a lot of hair i could work with. A little background on me is i’m 20 years old & ive been losing since my junior year of high school. I’ve tried minoxidil, dermarolling, a whole bunch of natural remedies, etc. I’ve been on finasteride for about 8 months now with no results besides the hair loss being significantly slowed down. So I’m going to try concealers & was wondering what the best one was for me? I’m stuck in between Toppik & Dermatch. I heard there’s a way to make Toppik waterproof & I’ve seen reviews on amazon sayings Dermatch wasn’t waterproof for some people. Idk each one of them have their pros & cons so any input would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long post, thank you!!!

A combination of concealer and hair oil or styling products seems to make it stick better. I don't go outside with hair oil in my hair but it do seem to stick to styling clays etc. maintaining some kind of coverage even after some rain.

Take some pics of how the dermatch works! I recommend toppik though.

I agree with everyone else that Toppik would work great. Do note that there are other options instead of Toppik which work just as well. I've used Crown (which I found on Amazon) and actually like their dark brown color more than Toppik. For you, I think black will be pretty easy to match and any option is good. You also didn't ask but if you do try a Toppik's hair particle product, I do like the sprayer/mister attachment rather than shaking out. Seems to spread it more naturally.
