Yeah, I bet you thought this was going to be your usual baldness cure fantasy circlejerk. Not happening.
Instead, I was wondering what you think it'll feel like, years from now, once you've balded beyond repair and science finally produces a safe and effective means of hair loss prevention -- while flippantly shrugging off the baldies and any significant regrowth? Because - oh, yeah, suddenly everyone is mega clear on the impossibility of reversal and the importance of maintenance and you ... well - it's only a matter of a few more years before you off yourself in misery and leave the fullheads in peace anyway.
What will it be like; just barely missing the train and being one of the last few people with this disfigurement - one of the last few fuglies? Do you think we'll still be so proudly zen, defending our past meekness, patience and faked indifference? How will we deal with the gut-wrenching realization that we should have fought harder while there was still a chance? In fact, how do you even deal with thinking about it now?
