If Finasteride has a 60-70% reduction efficacy then you can expect to lose 30-40% of those gains from Minoxidil post discontinuation shed. Reason being, Minoxidil and Finasteride have different mechanics on how they treat hair loss. Minoxidil is a vasodilator which provides your follicles with more blood, once you cut that supply they'll return to their previous state. Finasteride has very little effect on miniaturized follicles, and can only slow further loss.
