no its not...I know someones grand father who does it. He works 20 or so hours a week to stay busy and he loves to talk to people. He just likes staying busy.

Beat me to it. In the UK the local councils come up with some of the most ridiculous jobs, and they pay loads for it!! For example:

"Ingestible Liquidic Refreshment Supplier"

"Head of horizon planning"

"Operative Commitment Manager"

"Civic amenities engineer"- binman

"Product replenishment assistant" Shelf stacker !!

The industry I hate the most would have to be Public Relations, and i'm sure Bill Hicks would join me on this one. It's basically an industry of insidious bullshit.
