What is the opinion of common people for those who are thinking or wants to do hair transplants?

Many friends and relatives are telling me their is no need to do hair transplant(good donor density NW6, still i have hairs even on my frontal and vertex but they are not dense),even girls said this to me that it is of need need as people know it is surgery and people perceive it as a risk.

As people know more about strip surgery,people find it disgusting and unwarranted,my brother who has full head of hair nauseated when he got to know about strip method when we were consulting with hair transplant surgeon.

You said you were an MD from India, so why do you need advice on such basics? Also, clearly your not comfortable being bald so have a consultation with a good hair transplant doctor and see what they can offer you.

Depends are you a hired killer? Then being invisible might be worth while.
When I was looking into it people were apprehensive. No one wants to admit being vain and always tries to push off the "it doesnt matter" ideology but in the end everyone admits it looks much better. One thing I will say was my GF was actually behind it. She could see how badly it bothered me and how horrible I was looking. Plus we tried the shaved head thing for a long time and it just wasnt getting better.
Once it was done (well the second time) and started to fill in she actually thinks its much better.

Funny though it does add a whole new level of "watching out". Now instead of worrying of the hair loss you worry about the opposite. The hair starts to get to long and it looks weird. I just did another run with my buddy and in a pic where it was wet and long you can obviously still see recession. Yet when cut nicely and then combed right it looks great . At least the wind for a good while (hopefully) will be the least of my concerns.

Moral is, dont expect miracles but dont settle for less either. If I settled after the first one and go depressed about it I would look like schit. My Doctor really did push me to have it redone (free of course). He didnt want a bad hair transplant on his mind or reputation.
Im dying to pay this one off and work more on the crown now. I REALLY wanna try the body hair thing. Maybe from my back as filler. Add the bits of skin covered in tattoo back there and it would be like a hair transplant and SMP all in one lol.
