What should be the main purpose of Hair Transplant Surgery.

I once visited hair transplant surgeon here,and he advocated me about how FUT is better for hair transplant and all.
He said scar and all things related to it are minor.
He further said FUE is failure in results,how major area of donor scar gets damaged because of FUE because of that more punching area.


But for what..

Nothing Nothing can give you a hair you originally had.

So why Hair Transplant..

I believe one should think to get Hairtransplant Surgery to enhance your looks,frame your face and give some style...not for nw0 hairline..

It only takes 3000 grafts for that...

So the main USP of FUT fails here...
Because FUT is advocated because they say you get good hairs,it protects your grafts from damage,you can extract more graft and all that...also giving a scar..that is uglier than baldness..

Avoid Scar...get a hairtransplant to enhance the looks,do not expect NW0,1 results because that will
Need huge grafts,no need for that.

FUE also gives miniature scars in posterior area of skull still I believe not so deep punch will save you.


Use Minimum grafts..you will be seen as balding person even after hairtransplant but you should be looking nice after hairtransplant..even if is not major one..

No..I am saying to use hair follicles judiciously.
No need to go full fledge transplant because no one will know results will be good or not..

The only way hair transplant could work is <=NW3-3.5 and finasteride. And for my opinion it is pointless to make 0-1.5 Norwood, better have bigger density and Norwood 2-2.5, imho.

Define work...

While it's true that if you're NW5 or 6, you will not get normal density, it can still be a significant improvement if done right. Even moreso if you mix body, beard and scalp hair. I've seen plenty of pictures of great looking hair transplants with decent density up to NW4. I presume you mean that hair transplants past 3.5 won't have normal looking density, but even this depends on the candidate and their hair type and donor density.
