What should i do to start off... confused!!!

Hey guys,

Ok , so i am not bald ... yet! but my hair is getting REALLY thin on the frontal area.... not bald just very thin compared how it used to be...

I am not actually losing hair , well not that i can see... but i have tried over the year .... shen min and have also been taking Saw Palmentto and hair vits for years, which i think has slowed it down... ( my dad and grandad are bald!! :O( )

I have bought the new shampoo you guys are raving about , and have been using it with no shed.. phew... but what else would you suggest i do , i have been thinking about getting finasteride or something, but am worried , as i do not want to promote a shed!!

any ideas PLEASE... thanks guys... :O)

hey bud.. cheers for that .. i am alittle worried about starting on finasteride coz at the moment my hair is not actually shedding or falling out... its just progressively gotten thinner the last couple of years.. i can still get away with not " looking" like i am going bald, coz i have coverage its just alittle thing on the top and front.

i have been using revista, which seems to be making look thicker , but i want to make sure that io keep what i have!

My worry is that if i start finasteride the the rest that i will promote a shed and actually make the situation worse!

I know that no one can say " it won;t happen to you " but what are the chance of a shed happening ? does this happen to everyone on finasteride ???

HELP !! i am so confused! i want to do something but am so scared of making the situation worsE!! and then , not being able to go back!!

i think shedding on finasteride is a rare thing. I didn't have one either.

shedding on minoxidil seems more likely, however.
