What To Do If Dutasteride Is Not Working At 16?

Here's my story.
I started balding at 15.5 years of age. From 15.5 to 16.5 I just used minoxidil 5% and ketoconazole 1% ED. After about 1 year at 16.5 minoxidil stopped working so I went to a dermatologist. He agreed that I had severely aggressive Male Pattern Baldness (Diffuse Crown Thinning). He then prescribed me a 7% minoxidil compounded with a 0.1% finasteride to use everyday. This did not change anything for my hair loss situation so 1 month later I went back and seeing how much hair I had lost in that month he prescribed me finasteride 1mg ED. The finasteride worked for 1 month and I was very happy for that time. After the 1st month I was on it I went back to shedding hundreds of hairs every day for 4 weeks. I then decided to visit my dermatologist and considering that I have multiple bald spots on the back of my head he prescribed me dutasteride 0.5mg ED 2 days ago. I honestly do not believe that this will do anything for me as I have not lasted that long on anything before. Everyone on my dad's side is a NW7 and my dad told me he started balding at 14 and was completely bald by 21. My Question is what can I do if(when) the dutasteride stops working? I am very ugly even with hair (long mid face, flat zygomatic bones, overprotected nose, etc.). I cannot lose my hair at this young of an age, what would you guys recommend I try when the dutasteride stops working. I have only had side effects of minoxidil which caused me eye bags so would you guys recommend I use spironolactone or estradiol later (from what I know dutasteride is supposed to be the best on the market). Also where would I be able to get access to these medications because to be honest I would not doubt it if my dermatologist just gave up after dutasteride lol. Thanks everyone

You have to give these treatments time to work. 1 year minimum.

I can post pictures of my crown area guys, the two weeks that I shed on finasteride I lost about 15-20% density of my scalp and thats only in 2 weeks.

try topical bicalutamide in kb solution. you can find it on alibaba

a few guys with aggressive loss reported good results with that. or you can try 150mg/ml ru , or you can buy finasteride powder and do 25mg/ml finasteride

None of these drugs work instantly, they can take a minimum of a month or longer to build up therapeutic serum levels. Seeing results from the treatment take even longer when you factor in the rate of hair growth and phase cycles. You will not see any results apart from a shedding cessation for at least 4 months. Your dermatologist should have known this which leaves me to believe he/she are not familiar with the human endocrine system and hair loss.

I only bald on the crown and mid-scalp.
I just ordered 10grams of RU58841, would u recommend using a 150mg/ml or higher like 200mg/ml version? None of the stuff I've been using like dutasteride works. I got my testosterone tested and it was 1130ng/dl and my DHT was 6ng/dl, the doctor thought I took steroids (I do not). I think the high testosterone in my body is causing me to lose my hair since testosterone is 1/3x as androgenic as DHT. Would RU block the testosterone at the scalp if I am correct? Thanks man.

RU will block T but it does go systemic not sure if it's a good idea at your age

Instead I would use CB this does not go systemic but it's 3 times more expensive than RU but safer

Depends on your budget also

If you keep hair very short 100mg a day should work and you can keep using finasteride as well and minoxidil and CB is about 60 usd per gram so that's 6 usd per day

I have slightly longer hair than normal, I'm using 2.5mg dutasteride right now but I see I am seeing my hair become miniaturized by the day. Would 150mg/ml of RU58841 suffice since I have longer hair or should I use a larger dose?
