Nothing have helped me. Tried finasteride 1mg, 2mg and 5 mg every day, then, after a year of no results, I jumped on dutasteride 0.5mg daily and also added oral minoxidil 5 mg, microneedling 1.5mm once per week and ketoconazole cream every day(I leave it on the scalp all night). I did all this for about one and a half year now and it didn't work either, still losing more and more ground..... I have diffuse thinning. I'm also losing my donor area and sides. I don't really know what to do anymore. I was thinking on trying a topical Antiandrogen, but I don't know any AA apart from RU. It is very frustrating cause if this continues like this, I won't be able to get a transplant, cause diffuse thinning is wrecking havoc all over my scalp.

Yeah. I would forget transplants with diffuse thinning. There's a reason why few get them and I shouldn't have. You need perfect and high fringe for best results. This means unaffected fringe which is still in a juvenile state in terms of texture and look. Those few can get all but perfect cosmetic results. The head might still scar and itch forever if any grafts scar or if the donor area does. Basically, if you are balding in two places, it's a no go. Complete U is fine if perfect fringe. They can make the grafts almost touch and this creates an illusion of normal density. Microneedling now and then after any procedure is useful once the grafts are safe.

Try Topical Finasteride or Dutasteride compound mixture with added anti androgen blockers. You could try the same mixture as me and see;

Lotion

15% Minoxidil
5% Azelaic Acid
0.1% Finasteride
0.25% Progesterone
0.025% Tretinoin
0.1% Hydrocortisone.

See the thread below:

Retina A 100% works in conjunction with minoxidil as when I first used this mixture from a different compound pharmacy I had slight stinging when applied. This subsided a few months later and I noticed regrowth. AA and P4 I can not speak as I also add Topical Finasteride, but studies have shown it works and clinics add this in their mixtures for years with great success. The Belgravia Clinic in london use 12.5% Minoxidil + 5% Azelaic Acid cream. The Belgravia Clinic also use Medroxyprogesterone in their 5% Minoxidil. in regards to Hydrocortisone studies have shown this works, safe to use in conjunction with Tretinoin. So many places use these compounds in their formulas and have shown great regrowth success, from Dr Lee, Dr Klein, The Belgravia Clinic, Murray Avenue Apothecary, etc.

Hi, where did you buy hydrocortisone lotion? Thanks
I have this mixed in my Finasteride lotion mixture by MAA, see the thread above or contact MAA as they sell topical hydrocortisone and can be formulated.

Thanks !

Do i need a prescription for it? I am interested in hydrocortisone lotion only, no finasteride or minoxidil.
I’m not sure as my lotion requires prescription due to the Finasteride, I can find out for you or alternatively send them an email.

They do ship world wide but double check as I’m in The United Kingdom and clear customs fine. That all depends on your customs in your country, so send them an email.
